Being A HM. Hospital Corpsman in the Navy, or in any military branch, are termed as Medical Assistants. They work in many environments from working in a ship to accompanying the Marines on fleet. An HM may work in a clinic or as specialty technicians. HMs are trained to give medical treatment and become healthcare providers.
On your journey to become a top HM, you will face many obstacles and your personality will have to adjust to those changes. A HM got to practice patience because of all the equipment and technology you will be handling with. HM also have to tolerance towards others. You will be helping out different people from other races and with different ways of life. Skills. The Navy do a great job at teaching everything needed to become a HM at A school. However, there are still skills that can set even before A School that can come in handy for this career.
